Christmas (a month late!)

We had a wonderful Christmas season! It's hard to believe this is Davis's 3rd Christmas!! We were able to celebrate a lot during December and D makes it so much fun!! His favorites were probably looking at Christmas lights, enjoying all of the cookie decorating parties we went to, and seeing all of his friends on the Christmas cards we received. He really seemed to understand more this year, and we are especially thankful that he talked lots about baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph. In fact, we are still reading Christmas books at night! :) My mom came over on December 23, and we loved having her here to see 'Santa' come. On Christmas Eve morning, we had all of his presents out and Trip and I woke up way before he did! Probably the last year that will happen. He saw his loot and really seemed excited about his gifts and wanted to help us all open ours. We are so thankful for our little guy and are already looking forward to next Christmas! We missed seeing my sister and fam this Christmas but they enjoyed their holiday staying in Seattle! I will add a post soon about our time in Blakely!
