Auburn's incredible season ended with a national championship on January 10. We watched some of the game with friends, brought Davis back home for a quick nap, and then woke him up to go roll Toomer's Corner!! I know, don't wake a sleeping child. But since our little guy LOVES the Tigers, we thought it would be okay this one time. Luckily, he didn't have school the next day! As we were driving downtown to find a parking spot, we saw hundreds of cars doing the exact same thing. It was awesome to hear everyone cheering and honking horns! We managed to find a spot and walked to Toomers. Davis was a little overwhelmed with the crowds and noise but really liked it too! We ran into our neighbors, the Yordys, and they snapped a family shot of us. We only stayed a little while due to the FREEZING temps and traffic, but we're so glad we made the effort to go. Who knows when this will happen again?? We love our town and our Tigers!! War Eagle! (And yes, Davis went right back to sleep when we got home, but wanted to roll our house the next morning!)
