I am so thankful for the 16 years I had with my father. It may not seem like a lot to so many of you who still have a dad, but he put so much life into the years he had here. Losing him at such a young age made grateful for a Savior who Lives and whose Plan is bigger than what we can fathom. The greatest thing is we will get to see him again one day! I still miss him daily, and now that we have Davis I think of how much fun he would have with him and all of his grandchildren. It is such a joy to remember Dad, and each memory brings a smile. Here's a list of some of his favorite things....- God/Salvation
- My wonderful Mom
- Spending time with his kids and the TONS of family trips we were able to go on (California, Canada, Bike Ride Across GA, Arts and Crafts Shows, etc.)
- My Mema and Uncle Dewey/Aunt Brenda
- Tennis
- Georgia Bulldogs
- Banana Pudding
- Moody Family Reunion in Jesup
- His dental patients and employees who were like family to him
- Making cheese biscuits on Sunday Mornings
- Yard Work
- Working with us on our sports skills
- Church
- VSU Blazer Basketball Games
- His hometown
- Listening to Larry Munson
- Eating his Mom's/Aunts/Granny's wonderful Southern cooking
- Making us watch Jaws at the beach!! :)
- Singing and dancing (took tamborine to church)
- So many more.....special memories
Many of my friends who read this blog never knew my dad, and I wanted to give you all a small glimpse into who he was. Hug your own dads tight and be thankful for the time you have with them. I know I am thankful that God gave him to me.

Precious memories!! Thanks for sharing! Your dad was a great man! Love the sweet picture of the two of you!!
Your dad was an AMAZING man and a blessing to all who knew him. A memory of mine: your family coming to our restaurant on a Saturday night, and your dad saying to my mom: "Now, Miss May... how am I going to watch my figure with all of this good food here? I need to look good for my lady." haha! Loved his sense of humor.
He sounds like such a great guy! I know he would have been so proud of Davis. Thinking about you!!
