My dad....

I am so thankful for the 16 years I had with my father. It may not seem like a lot to so many of you who still have a dad, but he put so much life into the years he had here. Losing him at such a young age made grateful for a Savior who Lives and whose Plan is bigger than what we can fathom. The greatest thing is we will get to see him again one day! I still miss him daily, and now that we have Davis I think of how much fun he would have with him and all of his grandchildren. It is such a joy to remember Dad, and each memory brings a smile. • Making cheese biscuits on Sunday Mornings

• Eating his Mom's/Aunts/Granny's wonderful Southern cooking


• Making us watch Jaws at the beach!! :)

Many of my friends who read this blog never knew my dad, and I wanted to give you all a small glimpse into who he was. Hug your own dads tight and be thankful for the time you have with them. I know I am thankful that God gave him to me.
