Seattle visit!

We returned Monday night from a great visit with the Maurers in Washington State. They have been on the West Coast now for almost two years, and we were so excited to get to fly out and see them. Davis was an awesome traveler on the five hour flight there and back. Andrea and Lilly picked us up from the airport, and we began our five day adventure. On Friday, we toured downtown Seattle and Pikes Place Market. They rented an 8 passenger van so that we could all ride together during the long weekend. Saturday, we saw Lilly perform in her gymnastics program and Will play his first basketball game of the season. That evening, we saw the Bellevue Botanical Gardens light display and a Christmas parade at Bellevue Mall. Sunday was spent sledding, and we got to see beautiful mountains and falling snow! Davis loved the snow and jumped on the sled every chance he got! Trip enjoyed playing many games of football on the Wii with Will and Jay. Davis absolutely loved seeing his big cousins, and they were so nice to share all of their things. They live in a suburb of Seattle called Issaquah where you can see mountains at every turn. We enjoyed exploring their town each day. Monday, we headed back to the airport and flew home to the South. We really enjoyed getting to see where they live and play. Thank you Andrea, Jay, Will, Sam, and Lilly for such a fun visit. We love you and can't wait until the next time we get to see y'all!
